Dane Perumal

Dane is a Director in the Sydney Audit and Assurance team. His experience spans multiple services and sectors with a particular focus on the financial services sector. This includes banks, wealth and asset management, broker/dealers and fintech. He is also the lead for auditing information systems in the Sydney Audit practice, whose team specialises in fully integrating the auditing of systems into the overall audit approach.

Prior to joining BDO in 2018, he was a part of an international auditing firm in South Africa.

Throughout the course of his career, Dane has managed integrated financial statement and systems audits, controls assurance engagements, independent expert reviews and other assurance engagements.
